ode to vera

I think if I ever decided to collect something, it would definitely be Vera linens. She made the most lovely napkin sets and tea towels in to-die-for color palettes! The color combo above is all-time favorite for me. I spotted this beauty on ebay.

color du jour

What's red and white and turquoise all over?! Lots of parties, it seems. I'm loving this color combo and keep seeing it pop up in many places.

Maraka passed along this beautiful birthday party from Shim and Sons. I love it! The Martha-Stewart-esque photography (with fabric backdrops to boot) is just up my alley.

color crush

I seem to be leaning toward a color palette inspired by my beloved Orla Kiely bag. My home has traces of these colors as well, but I'm a bit too schizophrenic with color (in love with ALL of them), so I'm having a hard sticking to a defined palette. Nonetheless, I'd love to do something with these colors...a party, a house, a wedding...

from top: bowls from Martha Stewart/Macy's; lunch box from Plastica; early bird cream and sugar, measuring spoons and pepper mills from Anthropologie; reusable grocery bags (good for my New Year's resolution!) and bento box from Plastica.
