This gorgeous party was put on by Mary McDonald and Nathan Turner for Veranda magazine. I love all the luscious green details- those striped poles, the chinoiserie silhouettes, the veranda-tini topped with a gardenia! Perfection.

I just love this set up. I have a question for you. I have twin girls who will be one in a couple weeks and I want to keep the party simple and not too stressful with just close family. But what can I do to make it unique. I like to be different or have unique modern things, as in decorations and food etc. Do you have any awesome ideas for me?? Thanks!!
