On my Etsy wishlist.
From top: 1950 Cooking for Company; 1967 family games; 1970 Hostess Record; 1951 party games; 1979 magician tricks.

Yet again- I've spotted something this week that I though was a 'new' concept, but has in fact been around for decades. A cupcake tower/cake spotted on a 1960's cookbook- who knew?
I think if I ever decided to collect something, it would definitely be Vera linens. She made the most lovely napkin sets and tea towels in to-die-for color palettes! The color combo above is all-time favorite for me. I spotted this beauty on ebay.

I was flipping through some of my husband's old baby albums the other day, and ran across these vintage Christmas photocards. Apparently there was one variation- candy cane horizontal or candy cane vertical! I don't know why I thought this was a new invention...so funny to see these from the late 70's.
Thank you for this addition to our vintage cupcake topper collection, Kathryn! (photo by Craig Paulson)
