My son's 2nd birthday party is this weekend, and I'm doing my best to create some personalized touches. I'm a bit disappointed that I'm not having the party at home- but I figured I would be biting off more then I could chew with a 3 week old in the house.
In the meantime, a bottle of milk spilled in my purse all over my camera and destroyed it! I'm hoping to borrow a friend's camera for some game day photos, but for now, I've been taking a couple of snaps with my iphone as I'm knee-deep in preparations.

Looks fabulous! Can't wait to see tha party photos and details!
I love the red/blue-aqua color scheme. I am working on my best friend's daughter 1st birthday in a snowflake theme with those colors! I included several photos I found from Party Perfect on my inspiration boards: http://projectnursery.com/2009/11/little-snowflake-party-inspiration/
Thank you for being such an inspiration!
it's looking so gorgeous. i love that colour palette too.
nathalie from imprintables just posted a party she did in conjunction with Hello Naomi on her blog. It's the same colour palette.
Good luck with the party!

Oh it looks so cute already. I love the colors! In fact it's the same colors I used for my sons first birthday.
Adorable! I can only imagine what you will come up with. My son recently dropped my camera and killed my go-to lens! I feel your pain.
Aww~ I know how challenging it can be(crafting with a newborn)! Just breathe, take some time out for yourself (even just 5 min), the party will be perfect;o)

Love the colors! I can't wait to see more photos.
You are incredible to do this with a 3 week old. I bow down before you (and being insatiably party-driven myself, totally understand why you're doing this!). Have a wonderful party - the beginnings look stunning.
Good luck!!! I know the feeling, my daughter's second birthday is next week!!! I am also getting everything ready. Check out my preparations on my blog if you have time... here are a few links.

It sounds like you're having one of those weeks. At 2 years of age, he won't even remember it wasn't at your house; what he will remember is the love. http://blog.sweetservices.com/sweetscandyblog/
don't take this the wrong way, but it is really good to know that milk spills in other people's purses too! but i am still really sorry that it happened and that your camera isn't working.
however, i think that your blog is amazing and i know a lot of people look to it for ideas and inspiration.
:)
Wow, looks fab and you are doing so well to be doing this.. It took me about 18 months to get used to my babies each time!
Oh Sara, when it rains it pours, doesn't it? Hang in there. I am amazed you pulled off all these special touches given all you've got on your plate right now!
