reader question of the week #1

My inbox is again full with party questions for you super creative readers! So I'll post two questions again this week. Thank you in advance for all of your responses, you are an amazing bunch...

reader question of the week #1:

"My daughter Ellie is turning ll.  I want to use the double ll in her name and number 11 in a cute way for her party theme, but I can't think of anything.  Have any ideas? Thanks, Marcy"

What about doing a 1911 themed party? You can draw some inspiration from this wikipedia page: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1911.

If she is at all into American Girl, they just came out with a new doll, Rebecca, who is 1914. It would be cute to have a tea party with the girls and their dolls.

Hope you have fun!

you could use the double l in a cute cursive way. "ll" written in cursive is reminiscent of the hostess cupcake frosting. You could have 11's all over the room, almost as you would a monogram.

You could also do fun trivia questions placed through out the room (on coasters/table settings, in picture frames, etc) where the answer is almost always 1 or 11 or also have "Did You Know" facts about Ellie in the same fashion.
