pioneer birthday

Too awesome to resist 'pioneer' birthday from Sarah. So original, so thought-out... in one word, amazing! There was chicken feeding, candle dipping, and potato sack races, among other things. Much more here.

fiestas y cumples

Learning Spanish has long been on my list of things to do. Fiestas y Cumples makes me want to move that goal to the top of my list! So much beautiful party inspiration, so little understanding of the descriptions. Fortunately- beautiful party photos translate to any language. Check out all the beauty right here.

tiny two birthday

You won't want to miss this *great* party from lullaby lubbock! A 'tiny two' themed birthday where everything was tiny. No- this isn't a completely original idea- but Mom Allison took the theme to a new level. She collected large refrigerator boxes from a big box store and created a 'tiny town' for all of the birthday guests to enjoy. Check out the mini hospital, church, house, Starbucks and McDonald's! Sounds like everyone was in heaven. See more right here.

gender reveal party

I'm loving the 'gender reveal' parties I've been seeing (remember this one?). A cute version of this theme from Natalie.

fabric-inspired cake

Still oohing and ahhing over this Martha Stewart Weddings cake.

spring napkins

Spring is in the air (or at least it was this weekend). With that in mind, I'm loving these rick-rack napkins from Purl Bee.

lego candles

I'm feeling rather international these days, after having an ichat with my mom while she was in Chile and my in-laws while they were in New Zealand. So when an email from Brazil's Color Party popped up in my inbox, I couldn't help but take a look. I spotted these great Blokz (i.e., Lego) candles on her blog. Which led me to a search for them in the states (found: right here!). I also stumbled across this awesome, huge ($48) lego candle. Cute.
